BattleBit Remastered Patch Notes December 2023

Updates incoming, bit by bit!

BattleBit Remastered is better than ever before, as the developers at OkiGames keep bringing me back to it by updating the game with useful new features and bug fixes. Let's see what they have going on in the latest patch notes.

BattleBit Remastered Update 2.2.2 - November 30, 2023

HIGHLIGHTS

  • New Mode: Invasion - inspired by BF1 Operations
  • New Weapon: RPK16
  • New Map: Outskirts
  • New Feature: 3D Spotting
  • New Loadout HUD
  • New Cosmetic System: Weapon Skins have been completely remade
  • New Attachment: Target Detector

Full Patch Notes

UX / UI

  • The flag's UI has been moved up so as not to interfere with the environment
  • Added Cull Friendly Icons setting (culling can be disabled if desired)
  • Added Map Opacity setting
  • Added UI for friendly thrown grenades/smokes to indicate that they are friendly
  • The map name, game mode, and server name will be displayed on the deploy screen
  • Made UI changes to the squad menu on the deploy screen to indicate who the squad leader is
  • The compass on the bottom is now less crowded for better readability
  • Dead players will be grayed out, and the leader will have a star on their name
  • Last death location will be displayed on the deploy screen until the player deploys

GAMEPLAY

  • Bandage healing increased to 50 HP
  • Bandaging self speed is the same for all classes (same speed as current medic)
  • Bandaging allies is slightly faster for all classes, but medic is still the fastest
  • Voice chat delay has been reduced by lowering network batching. (In short, the voice chat will be closer to real-time by trading off the number of transmitted packets)

FIXES

  • Fixed issue where players could not place hesco walls on slope terrain
  • Sniper glint will no longer be visible through foliage
  • Players will no longer be able to spot players through tree/bush foliage

MAPS

  • Dusty Dew: Added abandoned buildings between town and the middle point of the map to provide more cover
  • Dusty Dew [DOM]: Objectives has been made more linear by closing gaps between towns and the middle of the map objectives. This should make for more intense domination fights.

WEAPONS

  • Added bipod to L86A1 and MG36
  • Weapons have been reclassified, and weapons have been redistributed between classes
  • Sniper's spots will last 2x longer than regular pings. (Regular pings are 4 seconds, recon's pings are 8 seconds)
  • Snipers - Medium range scopes glint will be visible between 200m <-> 800m
  • Medium scopes - snipers only, the angle requirement for glint to become visible has been significantly reduced
  • Bullet impact particle effects have been improved to make it easier to see where shots are landing
  • Added bipod
  • Damage increased from 31 to 32
  • Light vehicle damage increased from 4 to 6
  • Velocity increased from 650 to 700
  • ADS time lowered from 0.3s to 0.24s
  • Running speed increased from 0.95 to 0.975

  • Added bipod
  • Light vehicle damage increased from 4 to 7
  • Vertical recoil lowered from 1.8 to 1.6
  • Velocity increased from 600 to 680
  • ADS time lowered from 0.3s to 0.24s
  • Running speed increased from 0.95 to 0.975
  • Reload speed increased from 1 to 1.15 (4.73s to 4.12s)

  • Light vehicle damage increased, from 2 to 4
  • Vertical recoil lowered, from 1.4 to 1.3
  • Horizontal recoil lowered, from 0.8 to 0.7
  • ADS time lowered, from 0.21s to 0.18s
  • Reload Speed increased, from 1 to 1.1 (3.73s to 3.39s)
