How to jump in Atomic Heart

Get those boots off the ground.

Atomic Heart opens in a visually stunning world, floating and full of robots designed to make mankind's life easier. However, we know the idyllic scene won't last, but the lack of controls in the intro may leave you worried that you can't jump. This isn't the case, as you will be able to jump once the intro gives you more control.

In addition to your jump, you can also dodge midair to jump further or slightly higher. This is crucial for completing some puzzles, especially those involving platforming. Unfortunately, the jump is somewhat floaty, so it can be difficult to gauge some jumps or when to time your dodge.

While jumping will primarily be used to get over obstacles and solve platforming challenges, it is also required in some boss fights and can be used to dodge in combat. Keep your finger near the jump button, or you may find yourself getting knocked to the ground and injured.
