How Does Access Speed Work in Armored Core 6?

There are no tricks when it comes to Access Speed in Armored Core 6: it simply reduces the time it takes you to access a locked door, wreckage log, or object. Disappointed? So was I; it means this upgrade's use is situational at best. To be frank, it isn't that helpful, and you should definitely spend your chips on one of the much better upgrades available for purchase.

Off the top of my head, I can only think of two scenarios in AC6 where having a faster Access Speed is even remotely useful, and that's for activating turrets faster in both. Outside of this, unless you just want to get through doors a little more quickly, I recommend investing in other upgrades, as Access Speed really has no greater function.
