ARK: Survival Evolved is a cross platform game, but there are restrictions. Even though ARK: Survival Evolved is available on many platforms and consoles, it is only cross platform for certain devices. Players on mobile devices (iOS and Android) will be able to play together without issue. Players on Windows PC and Xbox One can also play together.
Trouble arises when players playing on entirely different platforms attempt to play together. Nintendo Switch players, Xbox players, and PlayStation players will not have the ability to play the game together. Cross platform play is not possible across different consoles, aside from Windows PC and Xbox cross play.
