Ark Survival Ascended is the latest installment in the Ark series and also suffers from performance issues like past releases. While it's an annoying problem, I increased my FPS in Ark Survival Ascended by tweaking setting options under the Camera, RTX, and Video sections.

Best settings for max FPS in Ark Survival Ascended
Though the following settings will improve your overall FPS significantly, you must still understand the optimization problem runs in the veins of the Ark series. Every game in the series, starting from Ark: Survival Evolved, has serious performance problems in the form of sudden FPS drops, stuttering, and crashing issues. So, it's better to accept the fact you will face one or another issue during the game instead of dreaming of a lag-free experience.
The following settings are customized to obtain 60FPS for a 1920 *1080 resolution on old GTX and RTX series cards.

Other ways to increase FPS in Ark Survival Ascended
Apart from the in-game tweaks, you can also scale your FPS numbers using the following techniques.
- Updating Graphic Cards: Please install the latest drivers for your graphic cards using applications like GeForce or Radeon.
- Priority Change: Change the priority of ArkAscended.exe from Normal to High from the Task Manager to allocate more resources than usual.
- Disable Fullscreen Optimization: Right-click on the ArkAscended.exe file from the installation folder. Under the compatibility section, tick the Disable Fullscreen Optimization. Immediately, press the Change high DPI settings button below it and turn on the Override High Scaling DPI Behaviour performed by Applications in the new menu.
