Who is Ash in Apex Legends?

Ash is officially the Season 11 Legend, expected to release on November 2nd. Ash has been featured in Titanfall 2 and a couple of Apex Legends Easter Eggs, including the Season 5 mission: Broken Ghost and the Gamemaster for Arenas mode.

Lore

Ash is a Simulacrum, a robot with a human mind, much like Revenant. In Titanfall 2, Ash served as a dangerous antagonist in the Apex Predators group. The leader of the Apex Predators, Kuben Blisk, has appeared in Apex Legends as one of the members who organize the Apex Games and may possibly be the creator of the Apex Games.

Respawn revealed Ash's human identity in the latest "Stories of the Outlands: Ashes to Ash" video that links Ash to Season 7 legend Horizon. Ash's human side is Dr. Ashleigh Reid, a student of Horizon who was stabbed and transferred to the Simulacrum body. In the video, Dr. Reid struggles with control over the body, seemingly losing control of Ash.

Abilities

Many of the previous Legend's had their abilities leaked even before the Legend was revealed. However, Ash's abilities have been shrouded in mystery, despite her appearance in Titanfall and earlier Apex Legends stories. One of Ash's abilities may have been leaked by AceU, who supposedly was given a test of the character. His analysis was that Ash would make Wraith obsolete, and a video posted may give that statement more weight.

Leaker Biast12 revealed a video where Ash is being played on Firing Range and seemingly uses her Ultimate Ability. Ash is seen dashing a few feet, which then creates a portal, but is said to dash through objects with the ability. This would certainly be a powerful ability but has not been officially confirmed, so it may be subject to change.
