Apex Legends is more than just the other players you’re fighting against when it comes to combat. It is also full of wildlife that players can slay to get some awesome rewards. Different wildlife has different rewards, and it can even vary from map to map. Let’s look at every reward that players can earn from defeating and damaging individual wildlife or clearing all of them out of an area.
Flyers
Flyers are pterodactyl-type creatures that fly in the sky above their home maps.
Rewards on Storm Point and Kings Canyon
- 1 Evo Point for your Evo Shield per 4 damage dealt
- 1 dropped deathbox upon killing the Flyer
- Deathbox can sometimes be hard to get to, or out of bounds
Location: Random spawn points in each match. Always perched on high ground, or flying in the air.

Prowlers
Prowlers are a vicious species of a large lizards with a pack-like mentality.
Rewards on Storm Point
- 1 Evo Point for your Evo Shield per 4 damage dealt
- Consumables upon killing the Prowler
- Shield Cells, Syringes, Med Kits, etc.
- Smart Loot upon killing the Prowler
- Add-ons and ammo at least one person on your team needs
- This is directly based on current weapons and loadouts
- Crafting Materials upon Nest clear
- All squad members get an even share Crafting Materials when a nest is cleared out
- If you are playing alone or in duos, players will get more individually
- These numbers are not always the same or always divisible by five
- Values when split are rounded down
Location: In a Prowler Den Wildlife Nest
Rewards on World’s Edge
- 1 Evo Point for your Evo Shield per 4 damage dealt
- Mid to High-Tier loot per wave cleared
- There are three rounds total
- Each round yields better loot than the prior
Location: In the Bloodhound’s Trials Town Takeover Point of Interest
Spiders
Spiders are giant spiders with ranged web attacks.
Rewards on Storm Point
- Same as all rewards for Prowlers on Storm Point
Location: In a Spider Nest Wildlife Nest
No Wildlife is present on Olympus or in Arenas.
