Animal Crossing: New Horizon's 2.0 update brings many changes to the game, including new items, activities, and new characters to enjoy. One of the new items joining the changes of New Horizons in the 2.0 update is the Gyroid, but what do these peculiar little items do?
Gyroids are an item in Animal Crossing that makes exciting and unconventional sounds and movements. They've been a part of the series since the original release on GameCube, and now they're making a return via the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update.

In Animal Crossing New Horizons, players can find Gyroid Fragments and cultivate them to create unique Gyroids to decorate their islands. Each Gyroid has animations, sounds, and designs to fit many different island layouts and choices.
Players can even customize Gyroids in New Horizons, changing the colors to fit their surroundings better. These cute little decorations even dance to music, so feel free to place them next to a radio and watch them wriggle around!
