Similar to any other RTS game, Age of Empires IV has a Plethora of controls and hotkeys for the various functionalities. While the default controls are pleasant to use, you can always change and remap the key bindings to your likings. To change and remap controls in Age of Empires IV, You have to visit the controls menu through the game settings and remap any functions according to your liking.

- Launch and open the game and click the settings button on the bottom right corner of the screen, as shown below.
