What time can I preload Resident Evil Village?

Resident Evil Village will release and become playable at the same time that all Capcom games usually release, which is globally at midnight. That being said, at 12 am, you should be able to download and play the game. But, things can change, but it most likely won't, and you should expect midnight as the release date.

You will also be able to preload the game now if you are an Xbox and on May 5th if you are a PlayStation user. However Steam users haven't received an official preload date but should soon, and once this happens, everyone should be able to preload the game once they have purchased the game. Also If you are a Stadia user, well, you don't need to preload and can start playing on the release date

After you preload the game, you will have to wait until May 7th, which is this Friday, to play the game. The game's download size is also rumored to be around 27 GBs, along with that, you can also tack on an extra 15 GBs due to the game's multiplayer mode.
