How to Purchase an Item from a Character | Fortnite | Week 15 Epic Quests

With our last week of Epic Quests in Season 5, we're tasked with some of the easiest challenges to date. Most of them focus on making us interact with NPCs in some way. In this guide, we will cover all the NPCs from whom you can purchase an item.

How to Purchase an Item from a Character | Fortnite | Week 15 Epic Quests

With this challenge, we only need to purchase one item, but we've got the locations of all of the NPCs that will sell you one. This means that no matter where you land, you can easily complete this quest by going to the NPC closest to you. We'd like to thank Fortnite GG for the map drawing functionality!

Note: You can go to any character that sells any item, including things like Cabbages or Bandages. However, weapons are generally the only thing on the map worth the gold bars you have to spend.

The image above shows you every NPC location where you can purchase items. Unfortunately, they tend to wander so we can pin-point precisely where they'll be. Some of them also have multiple spawn locations, so if you were hoping to do this in one match, it'll be easiest to pick an NPC with only one spawn location.

Here are the locations of each NPC that will sell you items. Once you have found one, you need to interact with them to open the radial and select the option to Purchase the weapon. You're done!

1. Blaze | Item: Dragon's Breath Sniper
   1. Pristine Point, northwest of Steamy Stacks.
   2. South of the lake that is south of Sweaty Sands.
2. Splode | Item: Boom Sniper Rifle
   1. Unremarkable Shack, northern edge of the map.
3. Fishstick | Item: Quad Launcher
   1. In the center of Coral Castle, a bit southeast of the largest building.
   2. In the restaurant on the northern side of Craggy Cliffs.
4. Remedy | Item: Chug Cannon
   1. Hilltop House, southeast of Stealthy Stronghold.
   2. Southeast corner of Craggy Cliffs.
5. Dummy | Item: The Dub
   1. North of Pleasant Park, south of Durr Burger Food Truck.
   2. Compact Cars, West of Dirty Docks.
6. Reese | Item: Shadow Tracker
   1. Eastern warehouse of Dirty Docks, near the water.
7. Deadfire | Item: Hop Rock Dualies
   1. Sheriff's Office in the middle of the map.
8. Grimbles | Item: Night Hawk
   1. Fort Crumpet, northeast corner of the map, south of Coral Castle.
9. Mave | Item: Storm Scout
   1. Northeast corner of Shipwreck Cove.
