Kitangi's Finely-Braided String

Kitangi's Finely-Braided String provides additional damage per arrow hit on an enemy, stacking up to three times for a huge 15% damage boost on the succeeding arrows. This is especially helpful when fighting against higher-level opponents, even though you have a lower combat strength.

Where to get: You can purchase this superior longbow string mod through Kitangi in the Hometree base of the Aranahe clan.

Kitangi's Master Grip

The Kitangi's Master Grip is a perfect match for the Finely-Braided String, as it allows you to deal an additional 15% damage after hitting a weak spot of an enemy. This is very useful when hunting wildlife or when faced against difficult AMP mechs, as you'll be able to take them down in less than five bow shots.

Where to get: You can purchase this superior longbow grip mod through Kitangi in the Hometree base of the Aranahe clan.

So'lek's Tactical String

Where to get: You can purchase this superior longbow string mod through So'lek in the Resistance Headquarters.

So'lek's Merciless String provides an additional 15% damage for 10 seconds after killing an enemy, which is very helpful when taking down multiple enemies in an RDA base or outpost. The string mod is also useful when taking down a pack of Viperwolves or Feral Thanators, so you can one-hit-kill them without breaking a sweat.

So'lek's Merciless Grip

So'lek's Merciless Grip is similar to Kitangi's Master Grip, increasing your damage by 15% after hitting a weak spot. The only difference is the currency you use to purchase either item.

For So'lek's Merciless Grip, you can buy this using RDA chips you can scavenge after taking down an RDA outpost/base, while Kitangi's Master Grip requires Na'Vi favor gained by doing Na'Vi-based side quests or contributing to the Na'Vi clan.

With the same effects, you can use either one of these grip mods; however, keep in mind, if you have OCD as I do, So'lek's Merciless Grip fits So'lek's bow better than Kitangi's Longbow.

Where to get: You can purchase this superior longbow grip mod through So'lek in the Resistance Headquarters.
