How to get out of the 3D Maze in Super Mario RPG

In the pirate ship section of Super Mario RPG, there is a 3D maze puzzle that is a headache to get through. You can't see where you're going, and figuring it out is one of the more challenging things I went through in the game.

Solution to the 3D Maze in Super Mario Bros. RPG

There are several things that make this maze extremely challenging. First is that you can't see where you are going, the maze has some jumps in it that are invisible, and there are several different levels of the puzzle that can take forever to wander through. So we'll start at the beginning in order to help you through to the end. These visuals were created by user Jonochrome, and they are the ones I used to get through it myself.

• Enter the maze at the bottom.
• Go straight until you can't anymore, then turn to the right.
• Keep walking until you can't go forward anymore, then Jump.
• Continue forward, then turn right at the first intersection.
• Jump twice to get up onto the next level.

• From the last jump, we need to head forward, then right, then right, then left very quickly to get out of the corner.
• Walk several spaces forward, then take the first path to the left.
• Hug the left wall until an opening appears, then follow it straight until that section ends.
• Turn right and keep walking until you hit a wall.
• Turn left and hop up once.
• Go to the end of this hall and turn left, then fall down to get to the last section.

• Turn to the left and fall again.
• Follow the path to the right, to the left, then right again around that little corner.
• Hop up, then turn right.
• Hop up three times, then turn immediately to the right. Take one step forward, then go left.
• At the end of this row, go left again, then hop up, then up one more time. This will get you to the top of the maze where you will find your prizes.
