With a variety of weapons available in Call of Duty: Warzone, you may be wondering which weapons to use in the game. Follow the list below for the best SMGs to run as your secondary weapon.
Top 6 SMGs in Warzone Season 1
In this list, I've ranked all six Submachine Guns from MW3 to give you my perspective on what guns you should level up first. These rankings are based on the most important stats, primarily time-to-kill (TTK), mobility, and handling. You can also check out my recommended loadout builds for all these SMGs below.
1. WSP Swarm
The WSP Swarm tops the list as it's the meta close-range SMG in Warzone right now thanks to its incredibly fast fire rate and TTK. Although the weapon comes with poor recoil control, you can make it accurate with certain attachments like the stock and rear grip shown in the build above.
2. WSP-9
The next best secondary you need to be using in Warzone is the WSP-9 Submachine Gun. Although not fast killing as the first gun on the list, it sure does have a competitive TTK, and more importantly, is very easy to control even without any attachments.
3. Striker
The Striker is one of the most used MW3 SMGs in the game and is number three on my list. It's similar to the WSP-9 in terms of TTK potential but has a faster fire rate, hence is more forgiving if you miss a few shots. The gun is also very mobile and can be built for accuracy with the attachments I've used in the loadout shown above.
4. Striker 9
A sibling of the previous gun, the Striker 9 SMG comes with a higher fire rate and slightly better mobility and handling stats. It has some horizontal bounce while firing, but you'll get used to it in no time.
5. Rival-9
The Rival-9 SMG is a good weapon for Warzone, but it sits low on the list as the other options available in this gun category perform better overall. Regardless, you can give this weapon build a try and see if you like it.
6. AMR9
Finally, I'm concluding the best SMGs in Warzone list with the AMR9. It doesn't excel in any department, be it mobility or TTK, but that doesn't make it a bad weapon by any means. In the class shown above, I've used attachments to make the gun faster and it still remains fairly easy to control.
