In LEGO Fortnite, Brightcore is a rare resource required for crafting and upgrades, so you'll need to know how to obtain this material. I've visited several hidden locations in different biomes to find rare resources, so here's how to get this item easily in-game.
How to get Brightcore in LEGO Fortnite
Brightcore is a Rare resource found inside Lava Caves in the Dry Valley biome in LEGO Fortnite. This area is extremely hot and your character will take weather damage, so it is best to take precautions before venturing inside Lava Caves at Dry Valley. For instance, equip the Cool-Header Charm, or consume items like Snowberry and Snowberry Shakes to resist heat damage in-game.
Brightcore is a Rare resource that looks like a shiny bright stone. They are native to the Caves in Dry Valley so I recommend discovering this location first. Build a Village near a Lava Cave in the Dry Valley, and craft several Storage Chests to stock up on this resource.
Keep in mind that to harvest Brightcore, you need the proper upgraded tools. For instance, this material can be harvested by using a Rare Pickaxe. Make sure to level up your Crafting Bench, and craft the Rare Pickaxe using Flexwood Rod and Sand Claw. Once it is ready, visit a Lava Cave to start harvesting Iron. Once you have the proper tools, visit the cave and start breaking down Brightcore deposits as shown in the image above.

Brightcore is an item required to craft Iron Bars in combination with Iron. You must unlock and install the Metal Smelter machine to start producing Iron Bars using these two raw materials. Iron Bar is a required material for several crating recipes, so make sure to stack up on Brightcore while farming this resource.
