With places to explore and quests to complete, you'll want to get around as fast as you can. Thankfully, there are some ways to speed up travel around the map. Here's how!
How to sprint in LEGO Fortnite
Walking will take far too long to get from point A to point B, so, like Battle Royale, you can sprint to make your character go faster. All you need to do is hold down the Left Stick on consoles or Shift on PC to make your character run faster. However, you'll want to keep an eye on your energy bar at the bottom of the screen as you do.

Once you run out of energy, you won't be able to keep sprinting. You'll need to wait for the bar to completely fill back up again before you can speed up again. This usually takes 3-5 seconds. You can also throw in a roll with Y on Xbox and Ctrl on PC to make up some distance.
How to auto run in LEGO Fortnite
If you've got a long, long way to travel and are tired of holding down that sprint button, you can also utilize the nifty auto-run feature. This will allow you to keep moving forward without holding any buttons but still steer in the direction you want to go. To activate auto run, press the forward move button twice in rapid procession (e.g., W x2 or Left Stick x2). You will still run out of energy and slow down every few seconds, but this does make it a little easier to travel long distances.
