If you’re looking for a new look in FFXIV, you should check out the Bold and the Braid hairstyle that’s taken the game by storm. Find out how to get it below.
I’ve seen a lot of players sporting this style in Final Fantasy XIV, and it’s easy to see why. If you like to have long flowing locks but with a bit of extra detail, you’re going to look great on the battlefield with the Bold and the Braid hairstyle.
How to get the Bold and the Braid Hairstyle in Final Fantasy XIV
The Bold and the Braid hairstyle was added as part of the 6.51 patch. To get the style, you’ll have to give NPC Trisassant a visit in Old Sharlayan (coordinates X;12.0, Y:13.2). If you find him there, you’ll need to give him six Aloalo Potsherds to buy the style. If you can’t see Trisassant at this location (you may need to be level 90), you’ll instead have to buy the style from the Market Board.
Where to find Aloalo Potsherds in FF14?
Aloalo Potsherds can be found in chests as loot on Aloalo Island. This is a level 90 variant dungeon also introduced in patch 6.51. The island has a bunch of other cosmetic goodies to find, including the Free Spirit’s Glamor Set and other glamor items.
To find the Potsherds you’ll need to loot chests dropped by the following bosses:
- Quaqua (1 Aloalo Potsherd)
- Ketuduke (2 Aloalo Potsherds)
- Lala (2 Aloalo Potsherds)
- Statice (2 Aloalo Potsherds)
- Loquloqui (2 Aloalo Potsherds)
