The Modern Warfare 3 beta launched on October 6, 2023, for PlayStation 5 users first at 12 PM EST. Xbox and PC players gained access later, giving PS5 players the first opportunity to play MW3, though there was an issue preventing players from jumping in early on on PS5. When is the Modern Warfare 3 Beta (MW3) for Xbox?
The MW3 closed beta goes live for Xbox users who pre-ordered on October 12, 2023. The open beta becomes available on October 14, 2023, regardless of if you have pre-ordered or not. The Modern Warfare 3 beta ends on October 16, 2023. The beta should go live at 12PM EST for all platforms and dates.

Like Xbox users, the closed beta for Modern Warfare 3 goes live on October 12, 2023, for those who pre-ordered the game. Those that did not can play the open beta for MW3 on October 14, 2023, and all players can jump into the beta until October 16, 2023. The beta should go live at 12PM EST for all platforms and dates.
How to play the Modern Warfare 3 Beta (MW3)
To play the Modern Warfare 3 beta, you must have downloaded the Call of Duty Hub. Once you have this downloaded, ensure you have the most up-to-date version and download the additional MW3 files. If you do not have these downloaded, you will be prompted to download them when launching MW3. With the packs installed, you can select Modern Warfare 3 in the Call of Duty Hub and jump into the MW3 beta.
