Fontaine is never short of strange World Quests, including Villains, which involves a group of Treasure Hoarders who call themselves the Fruity Operatives and a child named Blanche. You must help her find her brother by listening to the Cabin and the Crucible's commands. Here's everything you need to know to complete the Villains World Quest in Genshin Impact.
How to unlock the Villains World Quest in Genshin Impact
To unlock the Villains World Quest, head to the exact location circled in the image above, in the Fontaine Research Institute Kinetic Energy Engineering Region. A blue exclamation mark will appear when you get close to the area. Approach the girl and the Treasure Hoarders to initiate the World Quest.
How to complete the Villains World Quest in Genshin Impact
After initiating the World Quest, follow the navigator toward the nearby house, where Blanche is waiting for you. Speak to her to proceed.
Look for where the suspicious voice is coming from
You must search for the source of the strange sound. Start by interacting with three glowing spots around the house. One is in front of the tree to the right, while the other two are behind the house. You won't find any clues, but doing this is still mandatory to push the quest forward.
After investigating all three glowing spots, return to the front of the house and Knock on Door to interact with the source of the strange voice.
Pass Cabin's trial
In this segment, a Hydro mechanism will float around the area. Your goal is to continuously apply Hydro to the mechanism so that it lights up. You can use any character with continuous Hydro application, such as Kokomi, Mona, and other similar characters. But I recommend using Barbara's Elemental Skill, then standing beside the mechanism to quickly complete the objective.
Once done, speak to the Cabin of Intense Purity to proceed.
Find Pure Pinecones
Next, the Cabin of Intense Purity will order you to search Pure Pinecones. You can find three in the surrounding areas. Reference the mini-map in the images above to find the exact locations:
- Beside the tree to the left of the house
- Beside the tree by the pond
- Beside the tree in front of the house
Once you've collected all three, talk to Blanche to trigger dialogue between her and the Treasure Hoarder. Speak to the Cabin to proceed.

Place the Pure Pinecones into the top of the crucible
Go behind the house to find a giant wooden container, the crucible. Use the ladder to climb to the top, then interact with the sparkling spot where the arrow is pointing in the image above. Doing so will trigger dialogue with the Crucible of Intense Purity. Next, interact with the glowing spot nearby to obtain the container.
Drink the potion and go to the world of Intense Purity
Next, you'll be asked to drink the potion from the Crucible. Go to the Quest Item section of your inventory, then look for the "Key," which looks like a potion with white liquid, as pictured above. Click Use to complete the objective. Once done, climb the ladder to the top of the Crucible, then interact with it to enter the world of Intense Purity.
From here on out, the rest of the World Quest is fairly straightforward. After the dialogue, defeat "Tricky Bulle Fruit," then head toward the pond and defeat all the Hydro enemies. Interact with the flowers at the center of the pond, then speak to Blanche in front of the tree to the left of the house.
After the dialogue with the Treasure Hoarders, defeat "Ruthless Calla Lily" and finish the conversation with the siblings to complete the World Quest. You'll get the Wonders of the World Achievement called Les Quatre Coups.
