Lies of P is a brutally difficult game, no matter what weapon you choose to wield. However, some weapons provide movesets that may suit your playstyle better. While you get to choose one of three weapons at the start, there are many more that you can collect by exploring and defeating enemies through the city of Krat. One such weapon is the Salamander Dagger, a short blade with a fiery touch. Here's everything you need to know about when, where, and how you can obtain the Salamander Dagger in Lies of P.
What is the Salamander Dagger in Lies of P?
The Salamander Dagger, as the name suggests, is a small blade that glows red with heat, and deals additional fire damage to enemies. The dagger provides a unique combat style dissimilar to any of the initial three weapons you get to select. With the Salamander Dagger, players will have access to a range of stabbing and slashing attacks with very high mobility, thanks to the dagger's small size and low weight. The Salamander Dagger Blade can be dissembled and combined with a handle from a Greatsword or Rapier to change up the moveset and gain additional reach.

How to get the Salamander Dagger in Lies of P
The Salamander Dagger can be found inside a locked chest in a room near the Union Workshop Entrance Stargazer inside Venigni Works. To reach this area, you must first beat the Scrapped Watchman in Krat City Hall Courtyard, then make your way across the bridge and enter Venigni Works. Once you're in front of the Union Workshop Entrance Stargazer, go up the stairs to your right, and enter the room to your left.
Behind the stack of boxes and barrels in this room is a vent through which you can drop down to the floor below. Be careful as you go, as there will be two puppet enemies waiting to attack you. Once they are defeated, open the black chest in the room to obtain the Salamander Dagger Blade and Handle. To exit the room, simply interact with the door.
