Before the release of Payday 3, the game's Steam page stated the game was to include Denuvo Anti-Tampering software, which isn't really anti-cheat, but can act like one due to the inability of players to use any sort of mods (quite a big part of the Payday community). So what's going on now? I'll tell you all about it below.
Is there Denuvo in Payday 3?
Just before the release of Payday 3, the developers announced Payday 3 would not include Denuvo, mainly due to the fans expressing their unhappiness with the DRM software, since modding has been a big part of the Payday community and Denuvo is known to mess with third-party changes players might make to the game.

This is great news for all of us, since now we all get the chance to play the game with all the freedom we want, without having any kind of limitation as to how we can customize the game.
Does Payday 3 have anticheat?
An anti-cheat system like Denuvo Anti-Cheat is not included in Payday 3— possibly because it's not really necessary given you can't hit level 100 plus some infamy using cheats without the game knowing like you could in Payday 2. As is, the community can rest easy knowing cheaters and mods shouldn't be an issue for Payday 3.
When it comes to a standalone anti-cheat system, Payday 3 doesn't really need anti-cheat software anyway since the game is only playable online, even if you're playing alone. There's no offline mode, which means there's no way to actually cheat the game (a problem that plagued Payday 2 for the longest time).
