When you have an affliction or other status condition, your Aid section within your Inventory will be your best friend. To get there, pause your game so that you reach your main character menu (where you can see your character, skills, inventory, etc.). After that, go to your Inventory in the bottom right of the screen. Then, choose the Aid option. Here, you will see all of the items like Bandages and Immobilizers. Choose the one you need for your current status or affliction to cure it.

If you want to take a less detailed route, you can simply find a doctor and visit them. The most convenient doctor you'll find will be at The Well in New Atlantis. That being said, many players find that going to the doctor isn't often convenient, so be sure to keep some aid items handy.

Checking your status and afflictions is pretty easy to do, but it may not be super obvious when you begin playing. To check, go to your character menu and then find the area that says Status. From there, review Status Effects. The above photo is an example of what it looks like when you have no afflictions or status conditions. Good status conditions, like being well-rested, can be seen here, as well as miscellaneous factors like surrounding weather.
