While exploring the vast world of Palia, you'll come across several villagers who will assist you in surviving on this mysterious land. One of these villagers is Hodari, an elf residing in Bahari Bay alongside his daughter Najuma. Hodari takes on the role of a miner and offers assistance with upgrading your pickaxe, learning to smelt, and crafting recipes. Where is Hodari in Palia — Map Location

Bahari Bay is an area outside of the main village where you can discover Hodari's home and mining location. To reach there, you must first unlock the boat travel feature by completing a quest for Lila, the village mayor. Lila will task you with gathering several materials and crafting a boat ticket. Once you have this ticket, head to the dock near the village entrance to get to Bahari Bay.

Upon arrival at Bahari Bay, use the middle mouse button to mark Hodari as your waypoint. Then, follow the navigation bar indicators that will guide you toward his exact location. We've also marked his exact location in the above image for your convenience. Depending on the time of day, you’ll likely find him either at home or at his mining site.

You can interact with Hodari to increase your friendship and unlock several dialogue options and special events. On top of that, you can also purchase an array of items from Hodari, including unique items that can be used for crafting or decorating purposes. Finally, he can also upgrade your pickaxe and helps the new players learn the mining basics once they discover this mechanic.
