The Genshin Impact Shared Sight event runs from August 3, 2023, to August 14, 2023. During the event, you'll obtain a Gadget called an Inscribed Mirror, which will show you the point-of-view of various animals in Teyvat. While this challenge is located in the familiar Liyuean landscape, it can be a little hard to locate the little friends, especially the tiny Finch, which I had so much trouble searching for. Here's a rundown on where to find all of the animals.
Discovery on a Lakeside Stroll is the third challenge in Shared Sight, which unlocks on the third day of the event. Make sure to equip the Inscribed Mirror Gadget before starting, as you won't be able to start the challenge otherwise.
Once you're ready, head to the Shared Sight section of the event menu, then select the third challenge: Discovery on a Lakeside Stroll. Click Go to Challenge to prompt a paw-shaped icon to appear in the World Map. Head to the location in Luhua Pool and interact with the signboard to begin the challenge.
Crimson Fox location
Upon starting, use the Inscribed Mirror to see the point-of-view of the first animal. You then need to head to the exact area circled in the image above to find the Crimson Fox staring at the tree with the lion statues. Interact with the Crimson Fox to retrieve it, completing the first objective.
Crimson Finch location
The Crimson Finch is tiny but mighty, and it sure knows where to hide. Start by using the Inscribed Mirror to get the point-of-view of the animal, then use the wind current to propel yourself to the shoulder of the giant statue. This will take you to the exact location circled in the image above, where you must interact with the Crimson Finch to retrieve it, completing the second objective.
Azure Crane location
Finally, use the Inscribed Mirror one last time to get the point-of-view of the Azure Crane. It's camouflaged really well among the bushes, so you might not see it right away. To find it, use the wind current to propel yourself toward the top of the cliff. You'll spot the Azure Crane staring into the horizon. Interact with the Azure Crane to retrieve it, completing the challenge. Don't forget to claim rewards through the event menu.
