How to get Rimesteel – Wartales

Rime solved.

Tactical squad combat RPG Wartales sees your companions taking part in a series of brutal turn-based battles as you work through a series of increasingly difficult quests. While team setup and strategy play a big part in the outcomes of these battles, even the best-laid plans will be undermined if your gear doesn’t hold up under scrutiny. When your companions start to reach level eight, the best gear you can craft for them requires a strong form of steel. Read on to find out how to get this Rimesteel in Wartales.

Where is Rimesteel in Wartales?

Rimesteel is not an item you often find in Wartales because it is largely a crafted item. However, you can sometimes find it for sale on merchants such as Femetruda in the Grinmeer Apothecary Clinic and sometimes gold caravan merchants.

What may be confusing to some is that rather than being in the Blacksmith or even Tinkerer menu list, Rimesteel is made at the Apothecary. You’ll need an Experienced Alchemist to make Rimesteel, which you’ll find under Components at any Apothecary Table. It will automatically be added to your Apothecary Table in the Compendium as soon as you have an Experienced Alchemist.

To make one Rimesteel, you’ll need one Grey Cluster and one Alazarian Powder. You’ll find Grey Clusters as a bonus material from mining, so it’s good to have a Master Miner in your squad to have the best chance to get bonuses. Similarly, Alazarian Powder is sometimes found on high-tier traveling merchants but is also a random byproduct of making any Alchemist product, so having a high-level Alchemist will not only allow you to make Rimesteel but also give you a chance to gain the material required for it.
