What to do at Lover’s Pond in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

Is love still in the air?

Lover's Pond is one of many places that has changed between The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and its predecessor, Breath of the Wild. Lover's Pond used to be home to a cute sidequest (and a ton of Hearty Radishes), but now this area is completely different. Here is what players can expect at Lover's Pond.

What can be done at Lover's Pond in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)?

Lover's Pond is found in the Faron Region of the Tears of the Kingdom version of Hyrule. Specifically, it's the lake shaped like a heart on Tuft Mountain, which is found west of Lurelin Village (coordinates: 2587, -3514, 0184).

As for what there is to do there, the answer is sadly not much on the ground. There are no NPCs at Lover's Pond, no collectables, not even a Korok Seed (although there is a Korok Seed nearby at the top of the mountain).

That being said, there are a couple of highlights both below and above Lover's Pond. In the Depths below Lover's Pond is an area called Ancient Observation Deck. This is one of the best places to farm Poes. On the heart shaped island, players are guaranteed to find a Grand Poe. Nearby is another mine that players can pick up tons of Zonanite in as well.

The best way to get to the Ancient Observation Deck is to warp to the Mimufis Lightroot in The Depths. For players who don't have this area of The Depths explored, they can head to Meda Mountain Chasm (coordinated: 2533, -2401, 0196) and head south.

In the sky above Lover's Pond is a Flux Construct III. While these enemies can be annoying to fight, the rewards for this one is a Sage's Will.

I used an Airbike personally to get over there from the Great Sky Island, but players can also glide there from the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower.
