Genshin Impact houses different types of Domains, including the Domains of Forgery, which are Abyssal Domains where you can farm weapon Ascension materials. Each region has one Domain of Forgery with a unique lineup of enemies. To claim rewards, you need to shell out 20 Original Resin or one Condensed Resin after the battle.
Each Domain of Forgery will only drop one kind of weapon Ascension material every day of the week, so you'll have to wait until the material you need is on rotation. If you're looking to Ascend weapons in a hurry, I recommend farming on Sundays, as all materials are available on this day.
