How do I equip and unequip items in Arcane Odyssey?
Though using the Arcane Odyssey inventory/backpack system may seem simple to some, others have been having trouble with it since the experience's release. In our controls guide, we mention that the backpack is opened with the ` or ~ key, which is located to the left of the 1 key on your keyboard. At the time of this article's publication, that statement remains true.
Once you've opened your backpack successfully, you can click and drag items from your backpack to your hotbar to make them more readily accessible, or vise versa, drag items from your hotbar to your backpack to save them for later.

When you're ready to equip an item, make sure it's available in your hotbar and then click its corresponding number key. For example, if you've dragged an item from your backpack into your hotbar and placed it in slot 2, you can equip and unequip this item by pressing the 2 key on your keyboard. If you're looking to equip gear rather than items, this can be done from the inventory menu, which is opened by pressing the Tab key.
