The final boss of Destiny 2's Lightfall campaign, Calus, is abhorrently difficult. It's a battle of attrition that is bound to break spirits and controllers. Well, that is if you do it the legitimate way. No, we're going to save you time and pain. This strategy comes courtesy of Esoterickk on YouTube.
Desperate Measures - Destiny 2 cheese guide
To start things off, players will want to grab the Strand bundle and plant their rally banner. From there, look at the stairs leading down to Calus. Off to either side is a gap where players can jump down and crouch to get under. Follow the pipe towards Calus to trigger the encounter. Back up to the stairs and proceed to lay into Calus through the slits with weapons like machine guns, Le Monarque, and Osteo Striga.
Just before killing Calus to end phase one, creep out from under the stairs. Jump up to one of the curved catwalks. Pop Calus in the head once or twice to trigger phase two. As the vines begin creeping down to close off the arena, use the Strand Grapple to pull yourself atop the newly formed dome. Congrats! You're now on top and free to rain Hell down on Calus and his minions. The only threat to you at this point are the Psions, so make sure to take them out. When all is said and done, this strategy shouldn't take longer than five minutes to execute.
