How to change to the Required Ports
Configuring port forwarding is crucial for ensuring adequate connectivity and enabling gamers to connect to your dedicated server. You may set up port forwarding in the Sons of the Forest dedicated server configuration file. In particular, three UDP ports must be opened: GamePort at port 8766, QueryPort at port 27016, and BlobSyncPort at port 9700.
You need access to your router's settings to enable port forwarding. Locate the port forwarding or virtual server setup area by logging into the router's administrative interface. Make three separate entries using UDP as the protocol for each of the necessary ports. Exit the router settings after saving the changes.
It's conceivable that your router model doesn't allow port forwarding if you don't see this option in the router's settings. In these circumstances, upgrading to a router with port forwarding capability is advised. To find out if port forwarding is supported by your router, see the manual or get in touch with the maker.
