Hogwarts Legacy offers a variety of main and side quests to keep the players engaged. Sometimes, even the simplest of tasks may be challenging and time-consuming. In this guide, we'll discuss one such mission that requires you to investigate the goblin's presence during Percival Rackham's Trial main quest.
'Investigate the goblin presence' objective Percival Rackham's Trial in Hogwarts Legacy
After meeting with Professor Fig by the tower, you are assigned to investigate the goblin presence. Follow the professor and head inside the goblin camp, either using stealth or aggressively. You need to enter the tent to the south of the tower entrance (first image). Inside the tent, you'll find a letter on the table (second image) that you must pick up to complete the current objective.

During our attempt, we cleared out all of Ranrok's Loyalists and tried to figure out a way to unlock the tower gates. Eventually, we stumbled upon the letter inside this tent on the farther side of the camp, thanks to the Revelio spell. You can also complete this objective stealthily using the Disillusionment and Petrificus Totalus spells. Once you grab the letter, you'll have to fight off a group of goblins, after which Professor Fig will unlock the gates for you, allowing you to continue with Percival Rackham's Trial.
