Following the success of previous collabs with Sing 2 and Minions: Rise of Gru, Adopt Me! has teamed up with yet another animated film, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, to bring more crossover attention to its experience. This time, however, rather than just earning a pet accessory, players who complete an in-game quest can obtain an entirely new, event-exclusive pet—the Persian Cat. However, you can only obtain this pet while the Puss in Boots x Adopt Me! event is active, anyone who earns it during the time limit will be able to keep it, even after the event has ended.
Originally announced on November 14, 2022, via Adopt Me!'s weekly Twitter news video, this collab is expected to take place for two weeks, starting on November 17, 2022, and ending on December 1, 2022. Those who hope to obtain a Persian Cat pet will need to join Adopt Me! during those two weeks before it's removed forever.

Players looking to obtain the Persian Cat pet will need to enter Adopt Me! and speak to the Puss in Boots NPC. Upon doing so, they will be asked to find and collect all five pieces of Puss's missing adventure gear and a magical star. After collecting at least one of each gear piece, and the Wishing Star, players can speak to Puss in Boots again to obtain the Persian Cat pet. As a bonus, the collected gear can then be used as accessories for the in-game pets.
As mentioned above, this limited-edition pet will stay in the experience past the event's closure, but it will no longer be obtainable. Players who want this pet will likely need to do so before December 1, 2022.
