God of War Ragnarök is one of the biggest launches for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Picking up three years after the events of God of War, it expands on nearly all aspects of the prequel, including graphics, gameplay, and story. But one thing players may notice missing is a photo mode, which may leave you wondering when Santa Monica Studios will add photo mode to God of War Ragnarök.
When is Photo Mode coming to God of War Ragnarök?
Unfortunately, there is no official date for when God of War Ragnarök will get a photo mode. We know it is coming post-launch, as Santa Monica Studios confirmed this via Twitter. But we did not get a window for when players can explore the Nine Realms through God of War Ragnarök's photo mode. They stated that more details would be coming later, so photo fans must be patient.
Undoubtedly, Santa Monica Studios is ensuring that the photo mode is up to snuff, as God of War Ragnarök is an absolutely stunning game with beautiful environments, designs, and more. They have also taken great pains with accessibility options, so this same level of attention is likely being applied to photo mode.
The good news is that you can play through God of War Ragnarök's story without pausing and taking photos. Instead, you can identify pictures you'd like to take and then return to that spot and showcase your inner Norse photographer.
