Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed tends to favor the Ghost in terms of capability since they are matched against four Ghostbusters. That doesn't mean Ghostbusters are left without practical tools. At Player Level 20, you'll unlock the Radar Puck, a handy Secondary Gadget if you use it wisely. Here's how.
How to use the Radar Puck effectively in Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed
The Radar Puck is a throwable object similar to your Ghost Trap. Throw it onto the field using the button or key indicated next to its icon on the lower right corner of the screen. Once thrown, it will send out a signal at regular intervals, pinging the Ghost if they are within range. The Radar Puck will also reveal Artifacts and Rifts.

Much like the Ghost Trap, the Radar Puck has a certain amount of battery life, and you need to pick it up a keep it on your person to recharge it. You could leave it on the field, but be careful, as Ghosts could also pick it up and hide it from you. Forcing you to go back to the Gear Cart and get another.
The great thing about the Radar Puck is that its range extends up and down a floor level, so it's a great tool for matches set in Rock Island Prison with three different levels. It's also easy to ping your fellow Ghostbusters to a Ghost's location quickly.
