What are the Best Skills in Saints Row Reboot?

Skills are unlocked as your level in Saints Row. Some skills are passive bonuses that will increase your total health or flow. Flow is required to use skills, and damaging enemies in combat obtain it. The Boss can have four active skills at once. The best skills are:

  • Pineapple Express: Unlocked at level two. Grab an enemy, drop a grenade down their pants, and throw them.
  • Tough Mother: Unlocked at level six. Gain a temporary health boost to absorb damage from enemies and negate staggers.
  • Quick Draw: Unlocked at level 18. Pull out a powerful revolver, then shoot to gun down up to four enemies quickly.
  • Proximity Mine: Unlocked at level four. Place a stick mine that explodes when enemies are near. Damage increases shortly after placement.

There are a total of 20 skills in Saints Row. You can change your skills any time outside of combat by opening your phone and selecting the Skills App.

How to unlock skills in Saints Row?

As you level up, you will unlock skills. To level up, you will need to earn experience. The best method of gaining experience is to complete Missions (accessible from the Missions App) or Side hustles (Accessible from the Map App). These activities net the most experience rewards.
