Paying your bills in The Sims 4 is really easy. Your Sim will need to receive their bill before you can pay them. You can't pay bills early. When you get the notification (once per week in-game time), choose to either go to the cell phone, the mailbox, or the computer.

  • When paying for bills through the mailbox, click on the mailbox and select Pay Bills.
  • If you use the cell phone to pay bills, look under the home-shaped icon for Pay Bills.
  • If you are using your Sim's computer to pay the bills, click for more options until you find Pay Bills.

If you want to make energy conservation efforts or save money ahead of bill payments, you'll need to view how much your bills will be. To do this, either go to your Sim's phone or mailbox. Find and select Show Bills Information (under the home icon on the phone). You'll be shown an itemized breakdown of your bills and how it is being calculated there. Use this info to make any changes or save any money you need.
