Treyarch recently reached out to the Call of Duty community, showcasing everything they have planned for the franchise this year. While their latest production, Vanguard Zombies, has failed to attract players, the developers aren't giving up on the game anytime soon.
First off, Call of Duty: Vanguard will receive a round-based Zombies mode and Shi No Numa map sometime around the Season 4 update. Since the new mode, map, and several other elements are currently under development, players should expect minimal changes and improvements to Zombies in Season 3.

Moreover, Ranked Play will come out of beta in Season 3. Players will now be able to experience a polished ranked system in Call of Duty Multiplayer. The ranked mode will also offer several unique rewards, including weapon blueprints, charms, etc.
On the other hand, Black Ops Cold War will continue to receive some content updates here and there. The most promising ones will be the addition of new limited-time modes in Zombies, such as Outbreak Collapse, Onslaught Mystery Munitions, Onslaught Accelerated, Onslaught Diminishing Light, and Onslaught Elite.
Zombies will also include a new enemy, Abomination Elite, alongside a new Easter Egg. Furthermore, Multiplayer will receive the Jungle remastered map and new cosmetic bundles containing operator skins, weapon blueprints, finishing moves, etc.
