How to play Flashpoint in Apex Legends

Know how the LTM works.

Apex Legends developers keep players engaged by occasionally bringing in a variety of limited-time modes (LTMs). The Flashpoint LTM is fundamentally a Battle Royale, but the changes completely alter the pace of the game. Here's a guide on how the game mode works.

In Flashpoint, players get to see numerous zones scattered across the map that are called Flash Points. While inside these blue-colored zones, you get the ability to regenerate your character's health and shield over time, which eliminates the requirement of healing items.

Suppose you take damage from an enemy while inside a Flash Point, then you don't have to heal or recharge your armor. However, the zone will only heal you if you're not taking damage for six seconds straight. Furthermore, the Flash Points don't have any healing equipment as loot.

Another key aspect of the Flashpoint LTM in Apex Legends is the always moving ring. The circle or safe zone keeps shrinking slowly and steadily and is pre-determined to end in one of the Flash Points on the map.

As such, you can somewhat predict the final ring placement and position yourself accordingly. Once the ring reaches the endgame Flash Point, it stops for a minute before it starts shrinking again, eventually engulfing the entire map.
