Is there multiplayer in The Planet Crafter?

Can you survive alone?

In The Planet Crafter, you play as a convict sent to transform a hostile planet. Your goal is to terraform the planet so that other humans may live here. That being said, you will need to survive, craft, and build to succeed. But you may be wondering if you have to go it alone or if you can play multiplayer in The Planet Crafter.

There is no multiplayer in The Planet Crafter. While multiplayer is a common feature in sandbox survival crafting games, The Planet Crafter is a single-player experience. The developers at Miju Games notes that they "want to make sure that the single-player experience is perfect" in a news post on The Planet Crafter's Steam page.

You cannot play co-op in The Planet Crafter as a single-player-only game. While the developers want to create an outstanding single-player game, they also stated that if they add multiplayer, it will be after version 1.0.

But this does not guarantee that multiplayer will be added to The Planet Crafter. So for now, you will have to survive this harsh planet and terraform it alone. But that doesn't mean you can't show off your base designs to your friends online!
