Rune Factory 5 is a great game that has found a way to make DLC easy. You can have characters from Rune Factory 4 that can visit your town. If you want to use your shiny new DLC straight away, then you will want to know how to access it.
When you buy DLC in Rune Factory 5, all you need to do is allow it to download, and you will have access to it in your game. The costumes will automatically be added to your wardrobe. You can change into your DLC costumes as soon as you have access to it.
If you bought the Earthmate Edition of the game, then fear not. The content is already on the cartridge and will be readily available in your game. If you are looking to have Margaret and Doug, all you need to do is have a Rune Factory 4 save file, and they will automatically appear.

If you have trouble with content loading, delete the game from your system and redownload it. You should also check to see if the DLC downloaded from the eShop by searching up the content and seeing if the download option is available.
