The latest title from Bethesda and Tango Gameworks exists as an open-world action game, that has you running traversing the streets and rooftops of Shibuya City. In this game that has you grappling high up and gliding between buildings, you will no doubt miss your mark and plummet to the earth. Luckily, you do not take fall damage in Ghostwire: Tokyo.
No matter what height you might find yourself falling from, you can take solace in the fact that you will sustain no damage when hitting the ground. This is likely due to the supernatural abilities provided by the spirit KK, as your entire body seems to turn blue like the lost spirits when you land on the ground.
Akito is capable of surviving a fall from any height, including the tallest of buildings. This is quite helpful to keep in mind while playing through the game, as there are many times when simply jumping off a building is the fastest way to get to your destination. Even a Torii Gate is situated high on a skyscraper that requires the player to scale the building to reach it. However, there is no need to make the long trek back down once you are up there, as you can just hop over the edge.
No fall damage in an open-world game set in a city with many tall buildings helps make the game flow better and saves you time for simply taking the path you want to take without worrying about your own mortality.
