How to disassemble gear in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin

Get rid of some of that clutter.

In Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, you are going to be collecting a lot of gear. In fact, the amount of gear you end up with during each dungeon run can feel a bit overwhelming. If you have found yourself scrolling for far too long in your gear list, then it's time to start disassembling your gear.

To disassemble your gear, you will need to be on the World Map or Mission Select screen. You will want to bring up your Menu and toggle over the Cornelia tab—if you hit Co-op, then you've gone too far. You will see the option to go to a Smithy. Once you open this option, you can choose to upgrade your equipment or disassemble it—choose Disassemble.

You can disassemble both weapons and armor by pressing the Interact button, and you will see the material you get in return listed in the box on the other side of the screen. By disassembling armor, you get the materials needed to upgrade your gear's special effects.

A good practice after running each dungeon is to disassemble your extra gear. This way, you can easily upgrade the gear you are using and have a surplus of upgrade materials.
