News of the demo leaked before Playstation's State of Play, which was announced shortly before the presentation, which showcased more upcoming games from Japanese publishers, particularly Square-Enix's Valkyrie Profile. Final Fantasy XVI, however, was neglected altogether.
Stranger of Paradise was first announced as a part of Square-Enix's E3 2021 showcase, and players got a chance to go through a rough first demo that was only available for a limited time last fall. Needless to say, anticipation for this completely action-based Final Fantasy game grew hot. The full game release can't come soon enough.
