Like most open-world video games, Dying Light 2 takes pride in hiding one or two Easter Eggs for players to seek out and enjoy. One of these, of course, is the hoverboard, a type of vehicle that also comes with a mini-game and a Gold Medal for simply learning how to ride it. Getting to it, however, isn't exactly a walk in the park. Unfortunately, it involves a few lengthy trials.
How to find the hoverboard
- Unlock the Central Loop region by completing the main story quest Let's Waltz.
- Go to the Church of Saint Thomas Apostle on Saint Paul Island.
- Enter the church and gain access to the lower part of the southern bell tower.
- Take the cable found in the electrical box and then use the scaffolding to climb back to the top.
- Opposite the Military Airdrop, attach the cable to the wall-mounted box.
- Ascend the bell tower by using the yellow ledges and pole on the outside of the room.
- Enter the room with the radio and interact with it. Wait for the conversation to end, then the first hoverboard will spawn to the left of you.
- After taking the hoverboard, you will need to use your Survivor Sense to track down two other hoverboards. Both of these are found around the Muddy Grounds area.
- Use your Survivor Sense to locate the final hoverboard within the trunk of a blue car. Taking this will start the hoverboard parkour challenge.

How to beat the secret parkour challenge
Unfortunately, learning to ride the hoverboard isn't the easiest thing in the world and will require a few practice runs before it becomes second nature. The frustrating thing here, of course, is that you cannot use the hoverboard outside of the parkour challenge, meaning you will need to put all of your energy into beating the course.
The challenge is made up of 23 circles, all of which must be entered in a certain amount of time in order to complete the challenge. In order to win Gold, you will need to beat the course in 1:10. For Silver, it's 1:30, and for Bronze, it's 2:30. Be sure to take a few turns to sharpen your skills before going for Gold.
