How to level up your Ego and get all the psychology tests in Monark

It's easy to miss Ego oppurtunties.

There are quite a few intresting systems implemented into Monark to give the game a more intresting feel. One of these involves psychology tests that raise your Ego and help determine which legion units you are given at certain parts in the game. Here's what you need to do to get the most out of the Ego System.

To raise your Ego level, you will need to battle and take psychology tests regularly throughout your playthrough. While the larger tests are given by Vanitas, the smaller, one-question tests are given by NPCs that are scattered throughout the academy's buildings.

To make sure you get all the tests, you must visit each test-giving NPC you've unlocked each time you break an ideal and the first time you find them. If you don't regularly visit them during these time periods, then you won't be able to take all of the tests.

While your Ego doesn't directly influence battle outside of determining your legion unit and allowing you to use a few armor pieces, it does allow you to pick up Alter-Egos. These are scattered around the map, and when your Ego is high enough, you can grab them for a small but permanent stat boost.
