Here's where to find a Gas Station in Project Zomboid, so that you can refill.

In Project Zomboid, you can find Gas Stations outside of nearly all towns in the game. To find Gas Stations, look for green icons on the map. Green icons will display both retail and commercial buildings in the game.

For example, the location shown below is the Gas Station located in Muldraugh. Notice how the icon is green, and outside of the town. This tends to be the case with most Gas Stations, but they can vary from being a little inside and outside towns.

Gas Stations in the game will also include Fossil Filling Stations and Gas 2 Go Stations. Nearly all Gas Stations in the game will come in those forms, and another called Thunder Gas. That said, the following is all towns where you can find all Gas Stations in Project Zomboid:

How to fill gas cans in Project Zomboid

To fill a Gas Can in Project Zomboid, you will need to either siphon gas from a car or find a Gas Station. Luckily you can find gas stations by using the steps above.

Once you find a gas station, you will need to locate the fuel pump and right-click it. Doing so will show you a list of options. Click the one that says fill Gas Can, after which your character will then start to fill the Gas Can.
