How to unlock Mass Release at pastures in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

I mean, it's a long and tedious process.

In a catching game like Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it can be really frustrating to select one Pokémon at a time to release them. So, you may be wondering if there was an easier way to do it—and there is! At some point, you’ll be able to mass release Pokémon, saving you a lot of time and effort.

To unlock the mass release feature, make sure you’ve filled up at least four of your Pastures. Then, talk to Marie in Jubilife Village (she’s the one who manages your Pastures) and you’ll get a short cutscene. The number of your Pastures will also be expanded to 16.

How to Mass Release Pokémon

Once the option becomes available, you’ll be able to select multiple Pokémon for release by pressing X. The Pokémon don’t have to beside each other like with multiple select.

Releasing Pokémon is the most efficient way of obtaining Grit Items. Each type of Grit Item will raise one stat’s effort levels (ELs), increasing their base value. ELs can up to 10.
