Best Nature for Cyndaquil, Quilava, and Typhlosion in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Optimize your partner Pokémon.

Players get to choose one of three starters in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and if they decide on the fire type, Cydaquil, they'll have an explosive companion as their first partner Pokémon. To ensure their companion is most effective in battle, trainers should prioritize getting a nature that compliments Cyndaquil and its evolutions.

  • Modest (+Special Attack, -Attack)
  • Timid (+Speed, -Attack)

Make sure your Cyndaquil uses special moves in battle as it is a special attacker. This Pokémon's Physical Attack is far less effective. Choose a nature that denigrates Attack, as Cyndaquil and its evolutions won't need this stat.

If you want to prioritize your offensive effectiveness, select a Modest Nature for your first Pokémon.

Those aiming to outpace opponents would do well to choose the Timid Nature that increases the Speed stat.

We recommend selecting the Modest Nature for Cyndaquil, as the boost to Special Attack is very helpful in Pokémon battles for Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
