How to capture alert Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Gotta battle 'em all.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is one of the Nintendo Switch's most anticipated games in 2022. The latest entry in the Pokémon franchise promises to change up the formula of gameplay. Instead of focusing on battling, researchers attempt to create the world's first Pokédex by scouring the Hisui region and studying its wildlife. Some Pokémon are more challenging to capture than others, namely alert Pokémon. These aggressive creatures will shirk off any capture attempt once they notice a trainer, so how can players grab them?

Once the opposing Pokémon weakens, swap from your Pokémon party menu to your Pokéball menu, pressing the X button between turns and select which type of Pokéball you'd like to use on the wild Pokémon. With luck, you'll capture an alert Pokémon and add them to your collection!
