If you are trying to find a Gun shop in Project Zomboid, the best location to look is in the town of West Point. On the northeastern part of West Point, there is a Gun store that players can break into if they have a sledgehammer.
Without a sledgehammer, players will not be able to get inside the store due to a metal fence blocking all entry points to the Gunshop. Because of this, you will first need to look for a sledgehammer in the game.
However, sledgehammers tend to be one of the most tricky and rare items to find as they barely spawn. Nonetheless, here's a list of all possible locations for Sledgehammers in Project Zomboid.

Overall, if you keep searching the locations listed above, you will eventually find the Sledgehammer in Project Zomboid. If you want to lessen search time, we recommend creating a character with the lucky trait. The reason is that the lucky trait allows for players to find 10 percent more rare loot.
Once you find a Sledgehammer, you will be able to use it to break into the Gun store in West point and loot it for its arsenal of Firearms. To use the Sledgehammer to get inside the Gun store, right-click a metal fence or wall and click the destroy option.
Doing so will then have your character take out the hammer and break the wall down. After this, you will be free to loot the gun store in Project Zomboid.
